Onlookers
They are at home at the Flying Lodge, but they belong to the pedestrians. A year ago, Lodge Manager Rodrik van Neel raised four small ostriches in Bitterwasser. The now fully grown large birds stop by the lodge every now and then.

Don't be afraid of blue thermals
There are also weak days in Namibia. Those that are good for 500 k distances. The new year started with such conditions and blue thermals. The English guests who had just arrived did not let themselves be deterred, from home they are used to something completely different.

2021 ended well. After a pandemic year, we are are happy about the good 21/22 season in Bitterwassser. For the new year we wish long and fast flights and good landings!
