With your feet in the still hot red sand and a cold drink from the improvised bar in your hand, you are more than willing to let yourself be taken in by the beauty of Namibia. A night drive takes you back to the lodge later.
The Bitterwasser Flying Lodge was the main sponsor of the Junior World Gliding Championships, where from August 2 to 17, 2026, around 80 pilots from 22 nations competed for the titles in the Standard and Club classes.
