On foot in paradise

Whether you're a family or a traveler passing through - even without a plane, you'll get your money's worth in this little paradise in the middle of the Kalahari Desert! And that applies to every generation.

Pure relaxation is the order of the day here! After a massage in the spa area, you can jump into the cooling pool or let the desert air blow around your nose on a lounger.

There are also plenty of activities on offer. The game drive at Bitterwasser Farm is a great way to observe zebras, giraffes, meerkats and the like. The beautiful sundowner on the large dune is the perfect end to the afternoon.

Namibian nature can also be enjoyed to the full at the lodge! In addition to the herd of antelope, which comes to the waterhole every day with several ostriches and likes to be observed, meerkats, bearded dragons and fox mongooses constantly cross the path. Rose-headed parrots fly through the air alongside weaverbirds and the queen of the night's flower grows on the odd cactus.

The fantastic kitchen conjures up a delicious buffet every evening and takes guests into the culinary worlds of Namibia with the weekly traditional braai evening.

Whether on foot or in the air - Bitterwasser is always worth a visit!
