Cross-country flight training with the Segelflugschule Oerlinghausen

Flight training is available all year round at the Oerlinghausen gliding school. Now also in winter in the southern hemisphere. In Bitterwasser, Phyllis "Alex" Hörmann is currently being coached in cross-country flights with the school's Arcus M.

In the 2019/20 season, Alex sniffed cross-country flying in Bitterwasser for the first time. Back then, the B-pilot had just brought the experience of 100 starts from her basic training at the gliding school in Oerlinghausen. With the ASG 32Mi from the grandfather, who had put his own flying on hold, she was ambitiously on routes of up to almost 1000 kilometers. In terms of flying skills, Alex had a lot to offer. The icing on the cake is now the training with the Arcus “MA” of the gliding school. Cross-country ace Guy Bechtold (photo) is also happy to act as a coach.
