The 2025/26 Bitterwasser season is coming to an end
At around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the first truck carrying one of our seven containers set off. This marked the end of another impressive gliding season in Bitterwasser.
Women's power!
The four ladies Andrea Abt, Margherita Acquaderni, Petra Zimmermann-Lauer and Ilka Elster-Back have covered a long distance of kilometers in recent days.
Especially on 5. 11 they were far ahead of the men.
At the front: Ilka Elster-Back with 834 km.
Petra, Andrea and Margherita flew over 700 km. And this with averages of up to 130 km/h. This means that Bitterwasser has strong female pilots and we expect many more!
