The gliders are on their way!

It was a bit of a drudgery until Sunday, September 12th, when all the gliders had found their place in one of the seven containers for the transport to Bitterwasser.

Whole teams were always asked to lift the wings into the roof brackets, and later on the slim ones for the lashing work. With up to six gliders in one container, things were already tight. Now it goes by road to Antwerp and from there with the Golden Karoo of the shipping company MACS to Walvis Bay. The Golden Karoo is expected in Walvis Bay on October 19th. So the course is set for a punctual start to the season in Bitterwasser.
