Christmas in Bitterwasser – at 33°C and glorious sunshine
In Europe Christmas is usually associated with cold temperatures, early sunsets and, in the best case scenario, snow. In Bitterwasser, the world looks very different.

And it needs a fitting end! The turn of the year in Bitterwasser was characterized by a great evening full of nice people, laughter and good food.
After all the guests had eaten their fill of chef Lize van der Merwe's masterfully designed 7-course menu, it was time to head out to the pan. A large, cozy campfire with a bar was waiting there. At midnight, the new year was greeted with a beautiful firework display.
