It is Rainer's job and credit that things are going well in the lodge and flight operations in Bitterwasser. He is supported on the board of directors by Ralph Bürklin, Ilka Back and Jürgen Dörrie.

At the small birthday party, Manfred Dick immediately addressed Rainer Hog's thanks for the youth sponsorship by the Bitterwasser shareholders and the wish to continue this in the future. The winner of the Bitterwasser Cup, Eric Schneider, had set up a birthday serenade with the juniors of the 1000 k training camp and the Flying with the Youngsters campaign.
As a member of the Bitterwasser Board of Directors and CFI of the Soaring Society of Namibia, Dieter has rendered outstanding services to gliding in Namibia.
Sitting at his favorite spot in Bitterwasser, he has left us forever.
We will not forget him.
The season in Bitterwasser is slowly drawing to a close.
One by one, the gliders are being loaded into the containers. And still some teams fly over 1000 kilometers every day.
