Als letzte haben fünf Arcus ihren Platz im Container gefunden. Die insgesamt sieben Bitterwasser-Container mit teils bis zu sechs Flugzeugen gehen heute per Lkw nach Walvis Bay. Der Frachter Green Mountain wird sie nach Rotterdam bringen. Erwartet werden sie dort Anfang März. Rechtzeitig zur neuen Streckenflugsaison sollen die Flugzeuge dann Mitte März wieder in Europa eingesetzt werden können.
The SSN (Soaring Society of Namibia) website states that pilots holding a SPL license together with a valid LAPL medical may fly gliders with European registration in Namibia. Previously, the more complex Class 2 ICAO medical was required. The SSN point out that no definitive, valid statement can be made for neighbouring countries such as Botswana or South Africa.
